About The Designer
Nicola Antonnette Raynor
Founder | Jewelry Designer | Cultural Etiquette Educator | Child & Family Advocate
Toronto-born and globally inspired, I am a visionary entrepreneur and educator whose career spans over two decades in fashion, education, and human development. My journey has been shaped by a deep love for travel, a refined international sensibility, and a passion for empowering others to thrive.
In 2000, I launched my first business, Ola Finesse, originally as a personal development consultancy. It has since evolved into a luxury jewelry brand recognized for elegant, handcrafted designs that bridge Japanese minimalism with West Indian boldness. Ola Finesse Jewelry reflects my dedication to detail, beauty, and emotional expression through wearable art. The brand has been featured in Toronto Life Magazine and on CityTV’s Breakfast Television, and continues to expand globally, now embracing digital innovations such as NFT-linked designs and exclusive collector drops.
My second brand, OOXONIXX Designs, marks a bold expansion into high-end men’s lifestyle design. With a futuristic edge and a focus on furniture, apparel, and fine art, OOXONIXX redefines sophistication for financially astute men who value excellence, craftsmanship, and individuality. My painting, “Revolt on Gold,” serves as the cornerstone for OOXONIXX’s debut NFT and collector series.
My international path began in 2002, when I moved to Asia to teach English. Working with Japan’s top conversational institute, and later returning to Toronto, I built a high-profile client base—including executives from Toyota, Procter & Gamble, Sanofi Pasteur, and Sobe—helping them refine their English proficiency, boardroom communication, and cross-cultural etiquette.
This immersion in both Eastern and Western cultures led to a powerful realization: language fluency alone isn’t enough. I began pioneering bicultural etiquette coaching, focusing on the unspoken nuances of communication, grace, and confidence. This inspired my newest initiative—a cross-cultural etiquette course titled “Across the Table: North America vs. Japan”, offering professional insight into traditional manners and poise across cultures.
In parallel, I serve in Canada’s social support system as an Educational Development Worker and Life Skills Mentor, working with foster children and families. My compassion, mentorship, and advocacy extend through educational services, youth development, and cultural empowerment.
I hold a degree in Sociology and Crime & Deviance from the University of Toronto, and have contributed to academic research on homelessness. I am a longtime volunteer, advocate for women’s leadership, past member of the Streetsville Women’s Liberal Club, and an active Rotary Club participant in Mississauga.
My personal mantra—“Bringing out the YOU in you”—guides every interaction, whether in business, mentorship, or design. I continue to break barriers and build bridges through creativity, culture, and care.
I want to Thank you, for being apart of this journey.
